I always wished I could dance. I just love the joy and abandon you see in the faces of those blessed with the rhythm gene. Me, I have two left feet and am most likely tone deaf to boot, lol.

There are so many fantastic holiday songs that get the toes a-tapping. I thought I’d share a few of my favorites with you today.

Pentatonix (abbreviated PTX) is an American a cappella group from Arlington, Texas, consisting of vocalists Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin MaldonadoKevin Olusola and Matt Sallee. Avi Kaplan was formerly a member of the group; he was replaced by Sallee in 2017. Characterized by their pop-style arrangements with vocal harmonies, basslinesriffingpercussion and beatboxing, they are widely known for their covers, mostly of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material.

Probably, my all-time favorite song ever performed. It’s hard to imagine anyone not feeling moved by these words.

And now for a little holiday romance 🙂

And of course, no Christmas holiday is complete without Jingle Bells!

And lastly, Michael Foster’s Carol of The Bells. Magic, pure magic!

How about you? Do you have favorite songs for this time of year? Share your links in the comments for all of us to enjoy 🙂

Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas!

  1. You listed a lot of my favorites. Pentatonix came on strong from the beginning.. I love Little Drummer Boy. I’d love to see Andrea Bocelli live. My favorite holiday song is O Holy Night. Here’s a version by my favorite Italian tenor, Vittorio Grigolo. He’s singing with Jackie Evancho.

    Merry Christmas, Jacquie.

    1. Jackie Evancho is amazing! I remember watching her on America’s Got Talent and was astounded by the voice that came out of a child-I think she was 8-9 then?
      Crazy talent.
Thanks for the share, Mary, O Holy Night is a favorite of mine, too. 🙂
