It’s spring and I’m in my happy place- life is good, it’s cherry blossom season!
I’m a gardener at heart. There’s nothing quite as satisfying as planting seeds and bulbs and then seeing them pop through the fall detris in the spring. It fills my heart with promise.
Maybe it comes from being a spring baby, but it’s pretty hard not to smile at a cheery yellow daffodil waving goodbye to winter, isn’t it? 🙂
In honor of my birthday, I’m placing my paranormal suspense novel, The Guardian, on sale for 0.99.
Here’s what readers are saying:
I was lucky to receive an advanced copy of The Guardian. A quick, easy read that I enjoyed!. A serious topic handled not only with touching moments but a few humorous moments also. Romance, suspense, family ties, friendship, angels that aren’t sure about being angels, some sad moments, some nail biter moments, and a darling dog named Sugar Bear….what more could we want? I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
Scott Anderson is lost and bitter without his best friend and blames himself for the accident. When the ME charged with investigating the case is harassed, Scott tries to help and finds himself caught up in a dangerous web of lies and deceit.
Cook County Medical Examiner, Tracy York, has seen the extreme violence humans can inflict on one another. Her sister was murdered when she was a teenager and it has made her wary of the male population. When she is tasked with the investigation into a suspicious crash that killed one mega-star, and injured the other, Tracy must put aside her reservations and accept the hand of a stranger.
Can two lost souls come together to stop a madman and find love and peace with the help of a sarcastic angel, or will fate deal them a losing hand?
I really enjoyed creating these characters. Lucas is sarcastic and irreverent, great qualities for an angel, and Scott is bitter and antagonistic. It takes a special woman and a near death experience to help all three to see the light and maybe get a chance at a happy ending.
And now, The Guardian is available on audio! Daniel Purcell does an amazing performance and brought the characters to life in a new way. I just love his work and you will too!

I hadn’t tried audio much myself, but love the old radio shows like The Shadow and Fibber McGee and Molly. I’d love to add special effects to my audiobooks one day!
