  1. Tee-hee! (kicks heels against chair) How fun, Jacquie. I absolutely love your bit from “Missing.”

    Okay… here’s one from “The Glowing Pigs, Snort Stories of Atonement, Tennessee.”
    Erm… sorry, it’s a bit more than a line…

    “What’s your hurry Sheriff?” I asked as he put the car back in gear.

    “I should have gotten out of here before sunset. I’ve sure as hell got to get as far away as possible before midnight,” he told me. “Tomorrow is National Pig Day!” he exclaimed, seeing my perplexed expression, but making no sense at all. “Those pigs! Never mind. I have to go. I’ll be back in a day,” Robin told me.

    The car went about twenty feet down the road, and then stopped again.

    “No matter what you do, stay out of your cemetery until after that Pig Day is over!” Robin yelled before speeding away.

    “Wha—” I began, but the question died on my lips as I watched the police car burn rubber and disappear around a curve.
