I’ve been using it for a while. No love affair, nor do I expect there will be one, but I’ve found a few workarounds that make it tolerable, LOL. I’m off to check out Hugh’s post!

I’m still using the classic. I haven’t made the switch.

It has some cool features, Denise. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but I think you’d like it 🙂

I alternate between classic and the ‘thing that came after’ classic.

I’ve been putting off using it. Maybe it’s time. Hugh makes it sound doable. When I hear blocks, I think of Mailchimp because I use blocks there. Gutenberg sounds like its big brother with more bells and whistles. (Or no comparison?)

Yes, it’s a lot like Mailchimp, Mary. I don’t think you’d have any issues at all. I do like the layout options and it’s more intuitive, as well.
Give it a try!

I do hate it. I dislike change but forced myself to spend about a month trying Gutenberg. I finally got the plug-in to send me back to classic. I will say, Hugh has some great suggestions. I might retry it, when I have a few spare nerves.

Lol, it can be intimidating at first, but don’t give up!

There is so much to learn that I resent being forced to repeatedly learn how to use a basic tool. I guess I’m in a snit over it. LOL!

Lol, you’re allowed. I’m not sure why we can’t have the choice whether to switch or not, but I understand WordPress is removing support for Classic in early 2020.
