Before getting into the tips, let’s set the stage. You are launching a new book, and you get a call from someone wanting to know if you would like to do a video interview. Does your heart freeze? Hi Jacquie, I mentioned about my sister’s family immigrated to Canada years ago but went back to Hong Kong after my brother-in-law’s kidney transplant. My sister just told me two days ago that my nephew (married last year), and my niece (will be married in a few months) are moving back to Vancouver BC. Probably after the Covid dies down. I’m so excited that they’ll be close by.

That’s wonderful, Miriam! I’m sure your sister will miss them, but how nice for you 🙂

Yeah, Jacquie. They’ll be just 6 hours drive from my daughter in Portland. It would be nice for my daughter also. My sister may come later. 😊

Oh horsefeaters… I hate to be seen. I thought it was one more of my “quirks” or issues, but it turns out that it’s often part of agoraphobia. My therapist let me “work up” to video appointments, even though she’s required to do them (rather than phone). Thanks for sharing Jacquie. I’ll check out John’s advice. Hugs to you both.

Thanks for sharing this, Jacquie. I am way too bashful to do a video interview, but maybe John will make me braver. Lol. Heading over. 🙂
