National Pets and Kids Day- #SundayStills #BrightSquares #Photography

April 26th is National Pets and Kids Day and Terri Schrandt, the hostess of the Sunday Stills Challenge featured here, is celebrating!

The photo above is my grandson with his Newfoundlander foster dog. He’s getting so big! (The kid and the dog, lol)

Someone looks grumpy 🙂

Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation.

Lois Wyse

My kidlet and her kidlet from last Christmas. It’s hard to be so far away from them.

Me and my daughter moons ago on the ferry to Vancouver Island- it was always my happy place 🙂

My baby kitty, Harley, soaking up the sun’s warm rays.

This is my youngest brother’s little one. Isn’t she adorable? 🙂

All kids need is a little help, a little hope and somebody who believes in them.

Magic Johnson

My daughter (youngest one) and her cousins having fun in the sun.

My baby dog, Mickey. He was a Mexican Hairless Chihuahua with a gimpy front leg and a tongue that hung from the side of his mouth, but I loved him ❤

My brother and I as kids dressed up for picture day.

Grandson sharing his joy of life. See the iceberg in the background?

I’m grateful technology allows us to share digital photos and visit via Zoom or Facetime. Do you get to see your kids during this crazy time?

This last one is for Becky B’s #BrightSquares photo challenge- my grandson testing his balancing skills!

  1. Kids, grandkids, dogs, and cats, aren’t these what makes life worth living and more full? I know some folks choose to have neither but I can’t imagine missing out on precious moments as you share with us here, Jacquie! I loved walking down memory lane with you and hope you get to see your family in person soon. Those Newfoundlands are quite amazing! And I dearly love that quote about the generations! Have a wonderful week!

  2. I love the quote about grandchildren. Each of your photos is packed with fond memories, Jacquie. Your grandson is so big, and it’s lovely he has a newfound dog. Is he your youngest grandson. I remember you said you moved to close to your daughter to help take care of your grandson. Is he the one? I know they moved.
