Thanks, James. I love the contrasts between hard blue rocks (found everywhere here) and the delicate tracery on the leaf ❤

Thank you, Richa! I should have put my hand beside it, the leaf is huge!

You never know what you may see. This poor leaf all alone. Great photo.

Thanks, Michele! The cat was yanking on her leash to keep walking, but I managed to get the photo first, lol

I can’t think of a better place for a leaf to settle. The stones make for a nice background. I took one like this the other day but with a blacktop background. In yours, one enhances the other. I remember a maple leaf bracelet my dad bought me when I was a child. I have Canadian relatives we’d visit often.

Thank you, Mary. I think I had a bracelet like that, as well- made with different semi-precious stones?

I think mine had one stone. Hard to remember.

Oooh a great variety of texture, Jacquie. Such a sharp image — and timely too. Happy November hugs.

Lol, I was just at your blog 🙂 Thank you, I love the leathery texture the leaves take on at this time of year.

I haven’t seen fall colors yet (admittedly I don’t get out very far). I’m not sure what to expect. My big mulberry tree is still green. For all I know they might go straight from green to gone. My roses are still blooming, but it’s getting cold at night now. I expect the blooms won’t continue much longer. Autumn in the high desert. I’m truly blessed. More hugs.

Have you tried mulberries? Mary Smith says they’re delicious
