Delighted to share the news of my latest release which went live yesterday. A little light summer readingโ€ฆ

About the collection

ย โ€œUse a picture. Itโ€™s worth a thousand words.โ€ Arthur Brisbane 1911.

An image offers an opportunity to see endless possibilities depending on the viewerโ€™s perspective. Where some might see beauty and joy, others imagine sadness and loss of hope.

In this collection, images and syllabic poetry are brought together to tell a story based on the authorโ€™s perspective. The poetry explores our human experiences such as love, happiness, hope, aging, friendship, new beginnings, dreams and loss.

The world around us is an amazing playground and source of all our essential needs as well as sensory experiences that bring wonder into our lives. What lies beyond the horizon? What surprises will we discover as a garden bursts into bloom? Where do the night creatures live?

At the end ofโ€ฆ

Welcome to my first book review post of July. If you live in the United States, I hope you had an amazing 4th of July holiday weekend. Mine was on the quiet side, but involved a great cookout and time spent sunning (and reading) by the pool. Today, I have several indie book reviews to share that run from a novella to a 15-minute read, childrenโ€™s fiction, and a collection of poetry.

Because I have so many (these are all short reads) Iโ€™m going to skip the blurbs and simply post my reviews. Click the Amazon link for full details. Letโ€™s get started!
