Today I have special guest, and fellow author, Mary J. McCoy-Dressel here to share some BIG news!
Take it away, Mary 🙂
Thanks for having me as your guest today, Jacquie. I’m happy to be visiting your blog. I’d like to introduce you and your readers to my newest book—released in July!
Christmas at Love House
A Bittersweet Interlude
Bull Rider Series #3
Blurb
A little Christmas magic will be a welcome guest at Love House, but regardless if it arrives or not…during this bittersweet interlude—Velia and Caulder dare their happily-ever-after to be anything less than, “forever.”
Four years later, Velia and Caulder finish up another year of bull riding. They settle into their comfy abode on the McCutchen Ranch in the snowy Allegheny Mountains to celebrate the Christmas season with a houseful of guests. La vita e bella! But why does their happily-ever-after have to come with an expiration date? Without warning, their most chilling nightmare comes true. An innocent misunderstanding, and a startling realization discovered too late—puts their contented little family at risk.
On top of everything else, watching a new love bloom between two of the McCutchen guests, isn’t part of their agenda. Reece “Foley” Wilson, a former teammate, comes into contact with Velia’s cousin at the last show of the season and again while visiting for the holiday. Grown up and feisty, Natale Valente-Armano fell in love with this cowboy as a lovesick teen. Now, life has changed for both of them. How will they handle the unfamiliar thoughts and urges overtaking them? And, how will la famiglia respond to this unexpected romance?

Excerpt
Holding the champagne bottle, he caught a glimpse of her staring at him. He gave a warming smile and her heartbeat sped up. It always did when he smiled sincerely. She couldn’t put into words how much she loved him. But he knew. He raised the champagne in a salute to her.
Nearly hypnotized by his sexy persona, a chill shook her shoulders. Days ago they could’ve lost everything. A tear slipped from her eye and she had to leave the room. “Please excuse me.” She rushed out. Hurrying up the stairs, she closed the door in her bedroom, and stood at the window, facing a sight that could have been a place of devastation. She refused to allow the incident to rob her of the joy she got from looking out at the landscape.
Right out there the creek still flowed in a rush. My God. What would Caulder have done? He’d not be able to handle it as he had stated. His life would never be the same. As tears washed over her cheeks, she didn’t try to quiet the sobs. This is what she needed and had held back, until now.
The door opened but she didn’t care. His arms wrapped around her from behind and he lowered his head to rest upon hers. “Darlin’, are you all right?”
“No. Just like that it came to the surface. I held it all in until I couldn’t any longer. T-the other day could’ve been a horrid day for everyone…”

Mary took time out of her busy schedule for a quick interview. Thanks, Mary!
What do you write?
Sensual Contemporary Western Romance with strong family ties.
What genre do you favor?
I favor contemporary romance these days, especially what I write—western romance. That isn’t to say I never read other genres because I do, including historical romance on occasion. This time of year I love to read holiday romance novels.
When did you realize you wanted to be a writer?
I’ve always wanted to be a writer and dreamed of seeing my name on books. I began writing as a child. As a teen, I wrote a lot of poetry. It wasn’t until I was an adult with children that I got serious about writing and worked on my goal of actually becoming published.
Are you published?
Yes. I’m ready to publish my eighth contemporary western romance novel.
