My Girl is book three of The Gambling Hearts series of Texas ranch-themed romances. Aaron Shaughnessy once had his heart broken by the girl he loved. Now she has come back to his family’s dude ranch, but she’s brought her fiancé with her.
Trish Sylvester was surprised when her family arranged a week’s holiday on the ranch, especially after her break-up with Aaron. Seeing him again stirs up all her hidden emotions and makes her question why she left him.
This is a pleasant easy read clean romance. A couple of times I would have enjoyed time spent building a few more layers around the main characters so that I could really empathise with them, but that is just my personal preference in this genre.
