Pumpkin pie and Santa Claus- it must be Christmas!

I was thinking about our family this Christmas season. We zoomed last year, but this year we are all vaccinated. So, we will have a very small group at home with the windows open and indoor masks when not eating.

Baking is a joy for me. I used to do a lot, but since spending more time at the computer, I don’t do it much until the Christmas season. I plan to make cookies with the seven-year-old in the family, sugar cookies of Santa, angels and Christmas trees. Pumpkin pie is a favorite too, but in our family, baking can be a challenge as some are allergic to milk and others cannot have added sugar. Still whenever possible, I use quick and easy recipes.
