Excerpt
“Calla…”
Her name on his lips made her decision. She wanted him. She slid into his arms, enjoying the feel of his warm skin against hers. Before he could say anything else, Calla pressed her lips to his.
Kostas’s grip tightened as she opened her mouth. His tongue darted across hers, and she sighed. This felt right. It was a fantasy; she knew that. But a fantasy that felt so perfect.
She deepened the kiss. She had less than fifteen hours with Kostas, and she wanted to make them last.
“You’re tired.” Kostas broke the kiss, his fingers tracing along her side as if he couldn’t keep from touching her.
“I don’t care.” It was the truth. She didn’t want to miss whatever chemistry was driving them. Calla could sleep on the plane tomorrow, but something in her screamed that if she missed this opportunity, if she missed being with him, she’d regret it for the rest of her life.
Calla kissed him again, then pulled back. “But if you need sleep…”
He pursed his lips as he stared at her. “I need you.”

Thanks for sharing, Jacquie! I hope you’re feeling better.

This sounds excellent. I don’t find enough good medical thrillers (Carrie Rubin–I need your next book!) and I didn’t know Harlequin had a medical category. I’ll be checking that out.

Thanks, Diana. I had a bad flu/cold that took me down for a couple of weeks but I’m feeling better now. How are you? Are your parents okay?

I feel like I have a cold, but I’m still testing positive, so I’m hunkering down. The parents have avoided it, thank goodness. Thanks for asking!
