Terri Webster Brandt’s Sunday Stills Challenge is GREEN this week. You can see her post here and join in if you’re so inclined.
Spring is slowly starting to show its colors in the Pacific Northwest. We are about a month behind normal, but I’m glad to see the sun!
In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours.

Young shoots of lavender from last spring.
The photos above are all from my garden apart from the castle- though that would be nice! lol
The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also.

The first day of spring is my birthday and the best gift I receive is the rebirth of nature’s boundless glory.
Happy birthday!

Spring is a great birthdate to celebrate, Jacquie, and how wonderful to see spring showing her shy self this year. Like you, we are a good month behind, but all the snow and rain are a good thing. We have a lot of March birthdays in our family too. Great shots of spring showing off in your garden!

It’s interesting to look back at photos and see the weather variations year to year.

This year was a huge variation! All upon and down the west coast.

Nature where you are is a wonder birthday gift, Jacquie. 😊 Happy early Birthday. Sigh, snow is still on the ground here, but hey, the sun is shining! I love the quote by Harriet Ann Jacobs.

The warmth of the sun’s rays make up for a lot of the crummy winter weather 🙂

I’m so ready for spring, but we hit below freezing last night and it’s predicted again tonight. 😦 Happy early birthday!

Poor hummingbirds! I feel sorry for them when the weather drops.
Thanks for the birthday wishes 🙂

Great pictures, Jacquie. There are only two kinds of weather in South Africa: very hoy, and less hot.

We’re heading into four more days of rain so I’m not feeling sprung yet. Hoping though… Yep…
