The SEAL’s Special Mission
by Rogenna Brewer
Genre: Romantic Suspense
“You and the boy are coming with me.”
Navy SEAL Kenneth Nash has one objective—protect the son he’s never known. If that means dragging along his former sister-in-law Mallory Ward, then so be it. But while hiding out in a rustic cabin in the Rockies, Nash faces an unexpected problem.
Suddenly he’s feeling things for Mallory that he has no right to feel. Regardless of how this turns out, he could never be the family man that his son and Mallory deserve. Yet as danger approaches, Nash and Mallory’s attraction persists—and it could jeopardize the entire mission.

“From Navy Vet to Romance Novelist. Not just a job, thirteen years of Navy SEAL research.”
This book caught my interest right from the first line:
“Freeze!” Her voice shook almost as badly as the Sig Sauer in her hand.
Mallory Ward is a rookie FBI agent facing her worst nightmare, her sister’s murder.
I loved the premise for this story.
Navy SEAL, Kenneth Nash is accused of killing his own wife and sentenced to a lifetime in prison after getting caught seemingly redhanded by his sister-in-law, Mal. But did he do it?
Rogenna leads us through a maze of suspicion, danger, and forbidden passion that kept this reader turning the pages long after midnight.
She has a talent for action scenes that’s guaranteed to get your pulse pounding.
Resting her head against his shoulder, she allowed herself that moment only to feel what it would be like to be loved by Nash.
“We’re cool. I’m letting you hug me with maggots taped to your gut, aren’t I?”
She reveled in his deep chuckle.
The sound of it. The feel of it.
The heartbreak of it.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes plenty of hair-raising action with their romance, and of course, a happy ever after against seemingly impossible odds.
I give The SEAL’s Special Mission 5 lovely kisses
