Biography
My Review
Give me a good, angsty military-type hero and I’m hooked!
Natalie Ann starts this book out with a scene that could be right out of today’s newspaper headlines. A military operation overseas goes south and leaves one man dead and another injured.
Two years later, Vin Steele’s body and mind have healed- mostly. He still jumps at odd sounds and would be the first to say he’s almost neurotic when it comes to sensing trouble. He just doesn’t expect it to come in a sweet, feminine little package, is all.
Piper Fielding has faced her share of knocks and is finally taking control of her life. She’s opened a sweet shop, made new friends, loves her home, but can’t shake her obsession with the mystery man down the hall.
A chance encounter leads to romance.
The plot thickens though as a stalker makes himself known. The danger around Piper grows and Vin must work hard to protect the woman he’s come to love.
This story kept my attention. It’s well-written, funny, and full of chemistry! There’s a stunning twist at the end I didn’t see coming that made this a memorable read for me.
I give Secret Love 4 lovely kisses- Entertaining!
