If her husband turns up alive—she’ll kill him!

Explaining to the seriously sexy cop why she hasn’t noticed her husband has been missing for three days is both embarrassing and sobering. But the day Fiona Rowland lifts her head above the churning chaos of kids, carpools, and a million things to do, annoyance turns to fury…then to worry. Where is Stanley?

Having one of those wake-up-and-smell-the-coffee moments changes the way a woman looks at things: marriage, money, family, and friends. And when her best pal from high school arrives (packing her own secrets) to lend support, it turns out even the past isn’t quite what it seems. Scrambling to make sense of the drama unfolding, Fiona discovers there’s an upside to having your whole world turned upside down. It’s easier to grab the good stuff.

A delightful mixture of women’s fiction, chick-lit, romantic comedy, and mystery, Finding Fiona has something for every reader. The discussion questions included at the back of the book make this the perfect novel for book clubs and reader groups.

My review

This book was so much more than I expected!

Going by the cover and the blurb I thought it was going to be a light-hearted contemporary romance, when in fact, the author takes us on a road to self-discovery.

What would you do if your husband mysteriously disappeared without a trace? That’s the nightmare housewife, Fiona Rowland finds herself in. She’s left with a hefty pole of bills, two distraught teenagers, and a whole slew of questions.

When a sexy Police detective shows up to investigate the case, Fiona is further shocked by the attraction she feels for a much younger man- and besides, she’s married!

Her old school chum, Di, hears about the case and comes running, but not without a bunch of ghosts chasing her heels.

There’s so much to this book, I don’t want to give it away, other than to say you should definitely add it to your reading list, you won’t be disappointed!

I give Finding Fiona 5 + lovely kisses- A Must Read!

  3. I can’t imagine not noticing my husband was gone for three whole days. That is such an interesting idea for a book.

    • There’s been times I’ve wished mine was gone, lol. Joking. Yes, this is about something that happens to a lot of marriages after a few years, you take your spouse for granted. It’s really well written, I think you’d enjoy it.
