From Amazon.com

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me….Twelve Highlander heroes, brave and true.

Honor-bound and sworn to protect, they’re about to meet their match in twelve feisty heroines.

Amidst the wild Scottish mountains, the snow is falling deep, but twelve heart-warming stories of love await–one for each day of Christmas.

Discover an embroidered partridge fuelling revenge, two turtle doves sealing an ill-fated match, a feathery Yuletide tale, the betrothal of a reluctant songbird, five golden rings forged in forbidden love, a pet goose who represents a second chance, a swan taking flight, a dairymaid with murder on her mind, nine ladies dancing in the moonlight, a duty-bound laird and a wayward lady, a beautiful piper, and a ghostly drummer playing matchmaker.

Curl up with these passionate tales, filled with intrigue, adventure and the magic of Yuletide.

Available for a limited time only, make these Highlander heroes your own festive treat.

Unwrap twelve historical romance tales set against the backdrop of snowy medieval Scotland at Christmas.

My Review

What’s better than a warm fire, a cup of hot cocoa, and an anthology filled with brawny Scottish heroes?

I love stories that give me an escape for a few hours of enjoyable reading time and these books fit the bill. Set in tumultuous Scotland, we’re treated to larger-than-life heroes and the incredibly brave, beautiful heroines who win their hearts.

I love the descriptive settings and hints of intrigue, along with life and death situations that bring our couples together and teach them love is the greatest gift of all.

The anthology concept is a story for each of the twelve days of Christmas, from an embroidered partridge and a decades long thirst for revenge, to a ghostly drummer, these stories are sure to entertain!
