Announcing my first non-fiction book!ย

Well, not exactly. In my long career of writing and editing in the โ€œFederal world,โ€ I produced volumes and volumes of non-fiction.ย  However, I didnโ€™t get the credit for that work.ย  So, I should say that this is my firstย independently published non-fiction book.

I hoped to release it close to the launch of the third of my Roaring Twenties novels about Pip and her friends, A Ghost in the Kitchen.ย  The launch for that, a trolley tour of haunted Savannah, was huge fun, and a great time was had by all.ย

However, the actual book fell flat. So, I wonโ€™t be writing any new stories for Pip or Granny Phanny.ย  With that in mind, I almost didnโ€™t make this new book available eitherโ€ฆ but then I thought, why not?ย  Iโ€™m not doing a full-on book launch, justโ€ฆ

So without further ado, letโ€™s get right to it. Take it away, Mae!ย

Hi, Marcia. Many thanks for having me as a guest today! Iโ€™m delighted to be here today promoting my upcoming release,Eventide, the final book in my Hodeโ€™s Hill series of novels. If youโ€™re unfamiliar with the term, Eventide is an archaic way of saying โ€œeveningโ€ or โ€œtwilight.โ€ All three books in the series play off this theme:
Cusp of Night
End of Day
Eventide

Each refers to that moment when daylight fades and twilight encroaches. Iโ€™ve always considered these โ€œbetwixt times,โ€ neverโ€ฆ
