Christmas is family time in Carlton Grove…
Please Keep Me
A puppy, a brave little girl and a single mom, who can’t refuse her munchkin the chance to get to know her secret father, turn this story into a real heart-warmer.
A small town’s lovely deputy and a father, who lost his son years ago to a vindictive wife, team up to save the kid from a foster home he hates and an overzealous social worker.
Find Me A Home
An accident changes the lives of: a little girl who loses her parents, a crabby puppy who hates all men, a soft-hearted beauty who fears for her brother and also the cop who can’t escape his destiny.

Her reviews are numerous and incredibly positive:
“Love Mimi Barbour, love her books. When you can read a book that within just a few words, you are brought right into the book. You feel, taste, see everything going on. Great story lines. Fantastic characters, fantastic plots, story lines like real life both honest folk and of crooks. Humor that will have you giggling then full on belly laugh. You may even shed a tear or two. All in all Mimi never disappoints.” ~ Reviewed by Shirleen Miller
Carlton Grove will never be the same.
Three mischievous little puppies are left in a box in the middle of a park on a cold winter’s night. What follows are the misadventures as one by one they escape their cardboard prison and venture out into a scary new world.
I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of these books. Each one starts in the POV of one of the missing pups and then transitions into the stories of the humans who find them and eventually create forever homes for the snow pups.
“If you hurt one hair on that child’s head, John McCrae, I will shoot you with my own deputy’s gun.” She stuck her finger in his chest and pushed more than once. “That’s not a threat, sir. It’s a declaration of intent.”
