We are in the middle of major holidays at this time of year.

The first day of Hanukkah happened on December 3. Our Jewish friends celebrated “the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt. Kwansaa developed in the mid-sixties with the rise of Black Power and is celebrated in January. Each of the seven days of Kwanzaa is dedicated to one of the following principles:

      1. Well, not so much… I’ve been climbing the walls trying to get utilities arranged, mostly because of the incompetence of my realtor (who didn’t show up at the closing)… Still working on that today.
        Trying to take it easy this afternoon, now that hopefully the utilities are squared away. Now if I can just get that b!%#& to send me my keys… Breathe in. Breathe out…
